Arts & Crafts, Horticultural & Home Produce Show
The arts & crafts, horticultural and home produce competitions are very much the historic feature of the show; it is always fun to see who can bake the best cake or grow the most impressive vegetables or flowers to win one of the many trophies.
Entry Procedure
The horticultural schedule for 2024 is now available for download here. This document includes the entry form and instructions. The schedule itself is included below for quick reference.
Please send your entries to entries@manatonshowandfair.co.uk by midday on Monday 5th August, or drop them into the Kestor Inn between 7pm and 8pm on Monday 5th August.

Garden Produce

Flower Arranging 17. ‘Life in the country’ An arrangement of flowers and foliage any size, accessories encouraged 18. A hat or cap decorated with fresh or dried flowers 19. A buttonhole for the groom and corsage for the mother of the bride Flowers 20. A single bloom – ‘a favourite from my garden’ 21. A vase of 3 varieties of flowering shrub, 1 stem of each 22. Dahlias, Decorative - a single bloom 23. Dahlias, Cactus or Semi Cactus, 3 blooms, one colour or mixed 24. Dahlias, Miniature Ball or Pompom, 5 blooms, one colour or mixed, not exceeding 10cms in diameter 25. Dahlias, 3 blooms of any cultivar, one type or mixed for example waterlily or collarette, any colour 26. Scarecrow 69. This is a class for all ages to really have some fun – we hope to get enough entries for a scarecrow village!
